As is our tradition, the New Bern Breakfast Rotary Club bakes and delivers cookies to First Responders during the week of Recognition for 9/11, which this year took place Thursday, Sept. 8, 2022. Deedra Durocher had the honor this year  to deliver boxes of cookies in appreciation to the Craven County Sheriff’s office, CarolinaEast EMS, New Bern Craven County Rescue, Friendly Emergency Transport, and the Ambulance entrance to the Emergency Room at CarolinaEast Hospital. These are images from Deedra’s mission. Other members delivered to more than a dozen other locations for Police, Fire, and Emergency Responder heroes. We will never forget!
